Acrylic Silkscreen Ink on Canvas, 3’ x 3’ each

These multiple silk-screens are created from digital photographs of hydro structures.

These structures have become part of our pervasive, visual, and  industrial landscape and skyline with which we co-exist and on some level we accept for the energy they provide to us.

I find these structures possess an alarming ugliness and aesthetic beauty at the same time. I am interested in the tension this creates and have re-invented these silhouettes into powerful, abstracted, graphic images in electric pink, red, and black in order to explore this tension.
